FAQ

What sets integrative medicine apart is its holistic approach, combining conventional medical practices with complementary therapies to address not just symptoms, but the underlying causes of health issues, ultimately fostering a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit.

The functional medicine model is a personalized, patient-centered approach that focuses on understanding the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms. By empowering both patients and practitioners to collaborate, this science-based method aims to promote optimal wellness and improve overall quality of life.

Integrative medicine combines functional medicine with aspects of traditional Western medicine to offer a comprehensive, science-based approach to patient care. For those struggling with chronic conditions or other persistent issues, this model can help achieve optimal results, potentially allowing for adjustments to your current medications with the collaboration of your primary care provider.

You can expect a thorough assessment of your health history, a discussion of your current symptoms and lifestyle, and an exploration of factors that may be affecting your overall well-being. The practitioner will take a holistic approach, considering both physical and mental health, and may suggest personalized treatment options, including dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, and complementary therapies.

For those looking to dig deeper into chronic issues, unresolved symptoms, or root cause healing, I offer a 6-month personalized wellness program. This is a holistic, non-insurance-based plan that includes lab interpretation and guidance, specialized testing if needed/warranted, lifestyle and supplement recommendations, and one-on-one support. With this plan, we require that you maintain a relationship with your primary care provider as well. We work together with you, your primary care provider, and any others that may be involved in your health care to provide you the best outcomes possible.

We begin with a $250 consultation, which gives us time to go over your full intake history, discuss your top concerns, and determine if this is the right path for you.

Note: All new bookings require an upfront payment, which serves as a credit toward your selected plan. See booking page to schedule a consultation.

Functional labs are ordered through contracted companies and the kits can be sent directly to your home.

Blood drawn labs can be obtained through your Primary Care Provider or through a local diagnostic lab company (this will be coordinated by your Functional Health Provider).

Supplements can be obtained through a contracted company that offers discounts to my clients.

I hold virtual hours on Mondays and Wednesdays; appointments will vary based on availability. If you have any questions about bookings, please email at [email protected].

We are not accepting insurance at this time, as most functional wellness paths are not covered by standard insurance models. However, we gladly collaborate with your PCP if there are standard tracking labs that can be obtained and billed through your insurance system directly.
